近期，主題為“推動全球ESG合作、發展與共贏”的2024年環境社會和企業治理全球領導者大會（以下簡稱“2024 ESG全球領導者大會”）在上海市舉行。S4 Capital/Monks摩課士創始人兼執行董事長蘇銘天爵士應邀發表視頻演講。Recently, the 2024 Global Leaders Conference on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), themed “Uniting for Global Prosperity” , was held in Shanghai. Sir Martin Sorrell, Founder and Executive Chairman of S4 Capital/Monks, gave a video speech at the conference.大會上，全國社會保障基金理事會、中國發展研究基金會、世界資源論壇和國際標準化組織等負責人，高校院長及名譽教授，共同出席會議并發表精彩演講。此外，2016年諾貝爾經濟學獎獲得者、2014年諾貝爾經濟學獎得主、2011年年度諾貝爾和平獎獲得者分別分享了ESG相關議題，多位企業嘉賓亦共同圍繞ESG前沿話題展開觀點碰撞。

This year's event featured high-level attendees, including government officials, business leaders, and Nobel Prize winners, showcasing thought-provoking dialogues on cutting-edge ESG issues.蘇銘天爵士在大會發言表示，氣候危機無疑已成為亟待解決的首要問題，可持續發展也是重中之重。他強調，在當前全球大環境、經濟不確定和政治動蕩的背景下，可持續發展在人們心目中的優先級似乎有所降低，但這是極不應該的。Sir Martin emphasized in his address that the climate crisis has emerged as a pressing challenge that requires immediate attention, with sustainable development being of utmost importance. He pointed out that amidst the current global environmental uncertainties and political turbulence, the prioritization of sustainable development seems to have diminished—a trend that must be reversed.

ESG全球領導者大會是國內規模最大、國際影響力極強的ESG盛會，本次大會圍繞能源與雙碳、綠色金融、可持續消費、科技與公益等前沿議題，精心策劃9大平行論壇，深入探討超過50個核心話題，發言嘉賓超過270位，國外嘉賓占比過半，嘉賓規格和數量均創歷屆之最。The ESG Global Leaders Conference is the largest domestic event of its kind with significant international influence. This year’s conference addresses topics such as sustainable energy, green finance, and responsible consumption, with over 50 core subjects and 9 parallel forums to foster deep discussions on the future of ESG.
