蘇銘天爵士在2024 ESG全球領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者大會發(fā)表視頻演講
近期，主題為“推動全球ESG合作、發(fā)展與共贏”的2024年環(huán)境社會和企業(yè)治理全球領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者大會（以下簡稱“2024 ESG全球領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者大會”）在上海市舉行。S4 Capital/Monks摩課士創(chuàng)始人兼執(zhí)行董事長蘇銘天爵士應(yīng)邀發(fā)表視頻演講。Recently, the 2024 Global Leaders Conference on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), themed “Uniting for Global Prosperity” , was held in Shanghai. Sir Martin Sorrell, Founder and Executive Chairman of S4 Capital/Monks, gave a video speech at the conference.大會上，全國社會保障基金理事會、中國發(fā)展研究基金會、世界資源論壇和國際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化組織等負(fù)責(zé)人，高校院長及名譽教授，共同出席會議并發(fā)表精彩演講。此外，2016年諾貝爾經(jīng)濟學(xué)獎獲得者、2014年諾貝爾經(jīng)濟學(xué)獎得主、2011年年度諾貝爾和平獎獲得者分別分享了ESG相關(guān)議題，多位企業(yè)嘉賓亦共同圍繞ESG前沿話題展開觀點碰撞。
This year's event featured high-level attendees, including government officials, business leaders, and Nobel Prize winners, showcasing thought-provoking dialogues on cutting-edge ESG issues.蘇銘天爵士在大會發(fā)言表示，氣候危機無疑已成為亟待解決的首要問題，可持續(xù)發(fā)展也是重中之重。他強調(diào)，在當(dāng)前全球大環(huán)境、經(jīng)濟不確定和政治動蕩的背景下，可持續(xù)發(fā)展在人們心目中的優(yōu)先級似乎有所降低，但這是極不應(yīng)該的。Sir Martin emphasized in his address that the climate crisis has emerged as a pressing challenge that requires immediate attention, with sustainable development being of utmost importance. He pointed out that amidst the current global environmental uncertainties and political turbulence, the prioritization of sustainable development seems to have diminished—a trend that must be reversed.
ESG全球領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者大會是國內(nèi)規(guī)模最大、國際影響力極強的ESG盛會，本次大會圍繞能源與雙碳、綠色金融、可持續(xù)消費、科技與公益等前沿議題，精心策劃9大平行論壇，深入探討超過50個核心話題，發(fā)言嘉賓超過270位，國外嘉賓占比過半，嘉賓規(guī)格和數(shù)量均創(chuàng)歷屆之最。The ESG Global Leaders Conference is the largest domestic event of its kind with significant international influence.
