1994年,美籍華人朱威廉先生,在上海創(chuàng)立了Americo 聯(lián)美廣告公司,注冊(cè)資本金30萬美元。聯(lián)美隨即成為了當(dāng)時(shí)最早進(jìn)入中國的外商獨(dú)資的廣告公司。在創(chuàng)立初期就承攬了肯德基,摩托羅拉等一系列國際客戶。
1997年聯(lián)美被國際廣告業(yè)巨頭奧姆尼康集團(tuán)(Omnicom Group)并入旗下,英文改名為Pathway, 與BBDO天聯(lián)、DDB Worldwide恒美廣告、TBWA李岱艾和OMD浩騰媒體一起,共同發(fā)展奧姆尼康集團(tuán)的在華廣告業(yè)務(wù)。
2008年,Americo聯(lián)美廣告重新回到朱威廉先生麾下,目前主要服務(wù)于索尼、杜邦、德國漢高、奧克斯、卡夫、雀巢太太樂、恒生銀行、黃金協(xié)會(huì)等客戶。
